Round 2 of the Survivor Golf Series was sponsored by Fleet Plant Hire and held at Clifton Springs Golf Club on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula.
We had a sold out field, with 100 players keen to compete for the golden ticket. It was a beautiful day for golf and we were treated with some pre-game music by The Piano Man and a TaylorMade Charity driver raffle. The course was in magnificent condition and the greens were tricky which provided players challenges that resulted in many shots heading towards the water. There were five hole activations which provided the players lots of fun and the opportunity to win additional prizes! The adidas shoe box challenge and the party hole both highlights!
Two teams, Fat Boy Slim and Shawn of the Dead got off to a flying start and mid way through they looked like the teams to beat. On the last hole, Fat Boy Slim team hit a bogey. Shawn of the Dead hit a double bogey. The Roo boys were also in contention. The final score was Fat Boy Slim finished Nett 9 under to take out the victory and qualify to play in the Survivor Golf Grand Final at Palmer Sea Reef Golf Course  in December! After presentation, pizzas, music and a chipping competition finished off the day! A fun time was had by all!
