Round 24 was played at the beautiful Palmer Sea Reef golf course. We saw a sold-out field compete in the second last qualifying event of the Drummond Golf Survivor Golf Series.
The new party hole, a 42-metre par three over a steep bunker provided additional excitement and lots of entertainment!
On the 3rd hole, thanks to Zinc restaurant, we were treated to some delicious paella and paninis and live music from Drewboy.
On hole 15, with three holes to go, the scoring was very tight, and we had nine teams within two shots of the lead. It came right down to the wire! On the 18th hole, the team from Raine and Horne named Fine Cotton blew the field away with an eagle on the last!!!David Cotton and Chris McMullan were victorious with a score of Nett 11 under. We had six teams equal second, clearly demonstrating how competitive this event is. Congratulations Fine Cotton on playing some exceptional golf, taking out the win and securing themselves a place in the Grand Final in Port Douglas in December
