Palmer Colonial Round 11

The spectacular Palmer Colonial was the first of our Gold Coast events and the host of Round 11 of the Drummond Golf Survivor Golf Series 2023,A full field competed in the most perfect conditions.With all teams aiming for a score of Nett 10 under or better, one team played phenomenal golf. Elliot Forbes and Andy Fahey, Team Points Bet.

Starting with three birdies from the first three holes, Elliot and Andy kept their foot on the peddle all round. With numerous birdies, eagles and nearest the pins, they collected many holes prizes  to finish with an outstanding score of Nett 16 under in a dominant display of golf. With Points Bet winning by four shots, there was a very tight contest for second place with only one shot separating second through to seventh placed teams.With such dominant golf the Points Bet team will be a real threat in the Final in Port Douglas.

Palmer Gold Coast Round 12

Round 12 took us to Palmer Robina Woods Golf Club on the Gold Coast. It is a very tight track and we expected some very close scores. Hard hitters, Nestor Chan and Steve Gotkas started brilliantly early and birdied three of the first six holes. They were closely chased by two other teams You aimed it and Birds of Prey,

all with a chance of winning with three holes to go. Nestor Chan then chipped in twice for an unbelievable nett 12 under producing a winning score by three shots. Hard Hitters were very excited to receive the golden ticket and celebrate their victory.

These guys will be tough to beat in the final after taming the tight Palmer Robina Woods Golf Course. We will see how they can perform in the wide open spaces of Palmer Port Douglas in the Grand Final.
